Personal Life

On 15 Jan 2022, Nicole married local Singaporean actor James Seah after a two-year engagement.[6] James had previously proposed to Nicole on Christmas Day in 2019 in Thailand.[7] The couple had previously bought a $600,000, 900 sqft BTO flat in Boon Keng, which will only be ready in 2023-2024.[8]
Media Controversy
CNA Lifestyle Article Controversy
In May 2020, Nicole was featured along with four other influencers in a CNA Lifestyle article which drew criticism from the public for its headline "'I had to use TikTok': How Singapore’s influencers cope with the circuit breaker measures."[9]
While some social media users criticised influencers in general, others mocked the idea that these personalities have to adapt to using TikTok during the stay home period, and sarcastically compared their efforts to those of frontline workers.[4] In response, Nicole clarified on her Instagram that the quote in the headline was wrongly attributed to her, and claimed that the quote “I had to use TikTok” was not mentioned by any of the interviewees.[4]
