Fitness beginnings[edit | edit source]

In an interview with Joakim Gomez for HSBC Bank’s Conscious Living series, Jamie shared her introduction to fitness, where she was quoted as saying:

“Many people don’t know this, but I actually work full-time as an auditor. Working long hours, sitting long hours, I really didn’t like what it was doing to my body. I felt very inactive, very restless all the time and the unhealthy weight gain, it was so obvious. I’m really a firm believer that we shouldn’t take our health for granted.”[10]

Corporate career[edit | edit source]

Besides being a social media influencer, Jamie Pang has a full-time job as an auditor.[10] While undertaking her degree in NUS, she also held several internship jobs related to her field of study. From May to August 2013, Jamie worked as a finance intern at non-profit organisation Hamilton-Madison House in New York.[11] From May to August 2014, she was a supply chain management intern at logistics firm DB Schenker.[11] From May to August 2015, Jamie interned in the finance department at local insurance company NTUC Income.[11]
