Amelyn Beverly (born 17 December 1993) is a Singaporean blogger and social media influencer, known for creating travel and fashion content on her online platforms. In 2015, she was awarded the ‘Aldo Style Award’ and the ‘Most Popular Award’ at the herworldPLUS Street Style Awards.[1][2] As of May 2020, Amelyn has over 137,000 followers on Instagram.

Amelyn graduated from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2014 where she studied Fashion Design.[3][4]

Blogging

Amelyn started blogging recreationally at fourteen years old.[5] The oldest post on her still-active blog, Beverly Ville dates back to May 2009. In an interview with Her World that was published in 2018, Amelyn revealed that her blog served as an outlet to share her passions in travel and photography.[6] In 2016, her blog was featured on Style Caster's 'The 50 Best Fashion Blogs You Haven’t Discovered Yet' list.[7][8]

Amelyn's fiancé, Dan Ng frequently appears in her social media content. Dan and Amelyn work together as full-time travel content creators for the Amelyn Beverly brand.[9]

Engagement to Dan Ng (2020)

On 1 March 2020, Amelyn announced her engagement to Dan on Instagram.[10] The couple had met while studying in LASALLE and began dating in 2012.[11] After eight years of being in a relationship, Dan proposed to Amelyn during their trip to the Maldives.[12] The couple plans to have a small outdoor wedding with close friends and family. According to the pair, the wedding will most likely be held overseas.[13]

Over the years, Amelyn has been featured in magazines like VOGUE Thailand,[14] Her World[15] and TOPDOLLS Magazine.[16]

Apart from maintaining a blog, Amelyn is active on Instagram where she has gained a following of over 130,000 as of May 2020. She also has a YouTube channel with over 1,000 subscribers. In an interview with Her World, Amelyn mentioned that:

“My content centres around travel, style and love”.[17]

Amelyn created an Instagram page when the application had just been launched, posting photos of her outfits, café visits and travel experiences. At the time, she was still a student in LASALLE.[18] As her online following grew, Amelyn became a full-time travel content creator. On her platforms, she has shared her experiences to destinations such as Australia, France, Netherlands, Indonesia, The Philippines, Italy, Japan, Uzbekistan, India, Greece, Egypt and Thailand.[19]
