Xinde Yap (born 8 November 1995) is a Singaporean influencer managed by Dee Kosh (Darryl Koshy). He is also the co-owner of Chug Chug SG, a gastro bar established in 2017. As of June 2020, he has over 74,000 followers on Instagram.

Xinde's parents own a food and beverage business that manages the Jing Long Seafood Restaurant and four other zi char outlets (food stalls that sell rice and a variety of dishes) in Singapore.[1][2] He has three sisters.[3]

Xinde went to Temasek Polytechnic where he studied marketing.[4][5]

Xinde and his wife (who is known as Paix on Instagram) were married on 13 January 2020.[6][7] Xinde shared that they first met while he was managing the Chug Chug outlet at Tanjong Pagar.[8] The couple held their wedding ceremony at the Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa.[9][10] Their daughter, Bree, was born on 2 May 2020.[11][12][13]

As the Director of Chug Chug SG, Xinde manages the daily operations of the business which includes preparing orders in the kitchen.[14] He also develops the menus.[15] As of 2020, Chug Chug has two outlets at Tanjong Pagar and Paya Lebar Quarter 3 (PLQ3) that offer different menus. While the Tanjong Pagar outlet specialises in Chinese-Western fusion cuisine, the Paya Lebar outlet has a Korean-Japanese food menu.[16]

Xinde delved into the food and beverage industry after completing his national service in May 2017. In an interview with Vulcan Post, he revealed that setting up the business had cost him S$200,000.[17] With the financial support of his business partners (one of whom is his sister) and his parents, Xinde opened Chug Chug's first outlet at Tanjong Pagar in November 2017.[18][19] In November 2019, Chug Chug opened its second outlet at PLQ3.[20][21][22]
