Personal life

Vanessa Vanderstraaten is the older of the two siblings in the Vanderstraaten family. Her brother Justin Vanderstraaten was known for being in a relationship with Singaporean actress and host Rosalyn Lee for about two years.[2] Her father is James Vanderstraaten and her step-mother is Judy Goh.[3]

Her ethnicity is Chinese, Dutch/Sabahan and British.[4] In an article published by AsiaOne in 2016, Vanessa revealed that she'd been battling with hyperthyroidism since early 2015.[5]
