Fadli Fawzi has experience doing grassroots work with the Workers' Party and has been a councillor of the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council since May 2014.[16] From April 2012 to December 2012, he was a volunteer at the non-profit organisation, Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE) as a sub-committee member. He has also volunteered as a facilitator at the Family Justice Court Singapore from September 2014 to November 2014.[17]

“Because I believe that Singapore is bigger than just one political party. We need an opposition to examine the flaws and the assumptions of our policymaking process. A rational and responsible opposition like the Workers’ Party (WP) brings a wider spectrum of views to Parliament.”[19]
