Deaths (1)

Case 11714 was a 41-year-old male Chinese national who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on 22 April. He was discharged on 17 May after recovering from the infection. Unfortunately, he collapsed and passed away on 4 June. The Coroner confirmed that his death was due to massive pulmonary thromboembolism, a complication that arose from the infection.[15]
Case 161 was a 73 year-old male Singaporean with a medical history of hypertension, hyperlipidaemia and chronic kidney disease. He was admitted to NCID following confirmation on 9 March that he was infected. He passed away on 12 June 2020.[16]
