Regene Lim
Regene Lim (born 1999) is a Singaporean actress and content creator who began her career as an award-winning child star before transitioning into digital media. Known for her roles in various Mediacorp dramas, she garnered recognition for her acting skills and versatility. In recent years, she has shifted her focus to content creation. She engages with her followers through TikTok, where she has amassed 10.9k followers[1] and her Instagram, where she has 22.9k followers.[2]

Background and education
Regene Lim attended Methodist Girls' School before enrolling at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA), where she completed the International Baccalaureate programme. (LinkedIn) She then pursued higher education at RMIT University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Communication. Following this, Regene furthered her studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where she graduated with an Honours in Communications.[3]
In her early career, Regene worked as a Public Relations Intern at Ruder Finn Asia for four months in 2018. She later gained experience at Weber Shandwick from 2020 to 2021.[3]
Personal life
During her university years, she met her fiancé, Sergul Toh.[4] Her relationship with him has been featured in various media outlets. 8 Days reported on their engagement, providing details about the proposal and their relationship dynamics. The couple's appearance on the show #JustSwipeLah further showcased their journey together.[4] In December 2024, Regene announced her engagement to her university sweetheart, Sergul Toh, after six years of dating. 8 Days highlighted the couple's journey, noting that Regene made the first move during their university years. The proposal took place in Jeju Island, and Regene shared the news on Instagram, stating, "engaged has a nice ring to it."[4]
Career
Acting career
Regene Lim began her acting career in 2006, appearing in Mediacorp dramas such as C.I.D. and Happy Family. She won the Best Young Talent Award at the Star Awards in 2009, 2010, and 2011, making her the only actress to achieve this feat consecutively. After a hiatus during her secondary school years, she returned to acting in university and joined Mediacorp in 2018. She starred in dramas like All Around You, My Guardian Angels, and Dark Angel.[5]
In December 2022, Regene announced her departure from Mediacorp after a four-year tenure. She expressed gratitude for the opportunities and experiences during her time with the company and looked forward to exploring new avenues in her career.[6]
Regene has made subsequent appearances on Mediacorp's Youtube Channel. She was interviewed alongside Sergul by Juin Teh for the #justswipelah series in 2024, where they discussed their relationship.[7] She also attended the Star Awards and was featured in an interview on the Mediacorp YouTube channel on 6 July 2025.[8]
Digital content creation
Following her departure from traditional acting, Regene Lim transitioned into digital content creation. She has gained popularity on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, where she shares lifestyle content, personal experiences, and engages with her audience through short-form videos. Her background in acting has contributed to her success in creating engaging and relatable content.[9] A TikTok video posted by Regene in collaboration with Foodpanda amassed over 1.8 million views, her highest viewed video as of 2025.[10]
