He began his professional career working at DDB Singapore and Batey Ads before co-founding Kinetic Singapore in 2001 with Carolyn Teo, Roy Poh, Adrian Tan, Sean Lam, and Benjy Choo.[1][3]

Personal life

Pann and Claire met in 1996 at Temasek Polytechnic, where they were classmates in the School of Design. They were both 20 and 21 years old at the time. Their relationship blossomed from there, leading to a partnership that seamlessly blends personal and professional lives. Their shared passion for design and creativity has been a cornerstone of their relationship and family life.[4]

Pann Lim is currently married to Claire Lim and they have two children, Renn and Aira. Pann Lim often emphasizes the importance of family in his life, balancing work and personal life carefully. He credits the strong support and love from Claire and their children as essential to his happiness and success. The family is closely knit, with creative projects seen as ways to strengthen their bond, and they aim to be role models for their kids by demonstrating integrity, hard work, and love.[5]

Career

As Co-Founder and Creative Director of Kinetic Singapore, Lim has led projects for major clients such as Facebook, Levi’s, Nike, Hasbro, and Uniqlo. His work integrates design, advertising, and storytelling, emphasizing conceptual thinking and audience engagement. Lim is the patriarch of the Holycrap.sg family art collective, a platform encouraging creative collaboration among family members. He also publishes Rubbish Famzine, an indie magazine created in collaboration with his wife and children. These projects reflect his belief in storytelling, creativity, and the importance of fostering artistic talent within a familial context.[2][6]
