Hany Soh (Singapore Politician)
Hany Soh Hui Bin (born 24 June 1987) is a director at MSC Law Corporation.[1] As of June 2020, Hany Soh also co-chairs the Law Society's community legal clinics committee and organises bi-monthly legal clinics for residents in Bukit Panjang.[2][3] In June 2020, she was announced as a People's Action Party (PAP) candidate for the 2020 General Elections.[4]

Background
Hany Soh's first experience in the legal career was as a polytechnic intern at M/s Ong Tan & Nair that was run by Prabhakaran N Nair. After her internship, she continued to work as a paralegal for Nair during her university years.[5] In 2013, Hany Soh was accepted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.[6] Before joining MSC Law Corporation in 2016, she worked at Derrick Wong & Lim BC LLP on a training contract.[7]
Early life & family
In a public address on 24 June 2020, Hany Soh shared that she was a playful child who was not interested in studying.[8] In Secondary 2, she joined the English Literature, Drama and Debate Society (“ELDDS”) where she realised her skills and passion in debate.[9] Growing up, she was close to her grandmother.[10]
Education
Hany Soh went to Bendemeer Secondary School where she was a student in the Normal Academic stream.[11] She pursued a diploma in law and management at Temasek Polytechnic before attaining her law degree from the University of Liverpool in 2011.[12]
