Fiza O (born on 12 September 1982 as Nur Hafiza Binte Osman) is a veteran Singaporean host, radio producer & presenter signed under MediaCorp.[1][2] She is well-known as a radio DJ on the Malay language radio station, RIA 897FM.[3] Fiza O is also a social media influencer. As of July 2020, she has over 69,000 followers on Instagram and over 125,000 likes on her Facebook page.
Background
As a professional bilingual emcee, Fiza O is proficient in both English and Malay language.[4] She has been a MediaCorp artiste since April 2004.[5]
Family
Born on 12 September 1982, Fiza O is the eldest of five siblings.[6] At her 30th birthday party, it was announced that she was getting married to a fellow radio DJ, Abdul Karim Sadaali who is also known as DJ KC.[7] Fiza O and DJ KC met when they worked at the same radio station.[8] The couple got married in October 2012.[9][10] During Fiza O’s first pregnancy, she suffered a miscarriage eight weeks into the pregnancy.[11] As of July 2020, Fiza is the mother of two children - Isa Awsam (born June 2014) and Luth Hayyan (Born November 2016).[12][13]
Education
Fiza O attended Tanjong Katong Girls’ School. She furthered her studies at Edith Cowan University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications management.[14][15]
Hosting
Fiza O made her breakthrough as a television emcee at 23 years old when she became a co-host for Anugerah Planet Muzik, the regional Malay music awards extravaganza.[16] At the time, she was already a radio DJ with RIA 897FM.[17] Since then, she has hosted numerous music award shows, roadshows, album launches and events like MediaCorp's 2019 New Year's countdown show, Let's Celebrate 2020.[18]

As of July 2020, Fiza O is a radio DJ on the Malay language radio station of MediaCorp, RIA 897FM and helms The O Show segment.[19]
Television
After her debut in 2006, Fiza O continued to be one of the hosts Anugerah Planet Muzik having hosted the programme for five more seasons as of 2020. She was also one of the anchors for Anugerah, a singing talent competition on MediaCorp Suria in 2007 and 2009. The following table is a list of her notable appearances over the years.

In 2009, Fiza O won the Anugerah Gaya Manja (Manja Style Award) at the Malay media awards show, Pesta Perdana.[33]

YouTube (2011 - Present) - Content creator
As of July 2020, Fiza O is active on her YouTube channel which has over 4,000 subscribers. She joined YouTube on 17 July 2011[34] and has uploaded a variety of videos over the years ranging from food to fashion content. In April 2020, she started a series called the Miss Fiza O Talk Show.

Girlfriends by Fiza O (2016 - 2017) - Founder
In 2016, Fiza O founded the local fashion label, Girlfriends by Fiza O.[37] The brand launched its first Raya collection, Raya 2016 Collection by GIRLFRIENDSbyFIZAO in June 2016.

In October 2010, Fiza O started a personal blog where she published food, beauty and lifestyle content.[40] As of July 2020, her blog is no longer active, with the last public post dated 16 September 2015.
