Adria Lim, better known on Twitch as @adriahermione, is a 27-year-old Singaporean live streamer who is recognized for cultivating a safe, values-driven online community. As of 2025, Adria has 3.9k followers on her Twitch account.[1]

Adria grew up in a family that valued academia and creative expression. Her parents have been supportive of her unconventional career path as a full-time content creator. While she faced the typical expectations of “Asian parents,” they acknowledged her success and professionalism through sponsorships and her selection into structured programs. Her parents became more accepting of her streaming career when they saw tangible milestones—like her participation in recognized programmes and paid sponsorships.[2]

Adria maintains a streaming space guided by core values that emphasize authenticity, inclusivity, and mutual respect. She aims to present the "most unfiltered version of [herself]," embracing both vulnerability and real-world conversations. While her streams are lively and chaotic at times, she enforces clear boundaries—disallowing hate speech, slurs, and parasocial behaviour. Community moderation is supported through a “self-purging system” where viewers help enforce these norms.[2]

Career and streaming journey
She studied psychology in university and began working full-time in human resources after graduating in 2020. She also works as a freelance artiste. She then transitioned to streaming in 2023. Initially unfamiliar with gaming or technical setups, she became a Twitch Affiliate within two weeks with help from friends.[2]
She also participated in the Scape Streamer Residency and Pathway programmes, which offer mentorship and support to aspiring local streamers. And in 2024 she left her HR position to focus solely on streaming.[2]
Health and burnout
Burnout affected her significantly—she suffered from a slipped disc in September 2024 due to overwork and erratic scheduling. She was bedridden for a month and experienced physical and mental health decline, prompting a reevaluation of her work-life boundaries.[2]
Rekindling passion and Twitch partnership
Adria’s passion was reignited after attending TwitchCon in Las Vegas, where she reconnected with the joy of content creation at her own pace. She has since become a Twitch Partner (a tier above Affiliate) and streams to an average of around 100 viewers per session.[2]
Community building and IRL event
Adria plans community-centric events beyond her Twitch channel. In late August 2025, she organized The IRL Hypehouse, a live gathering at Griddy Grid in Changi Airport Terminal 2, designed to bring together streamers and viewers in Singapore for meet-ups, activities, and mutual encouragement.[2]
