Nadia Ahmad Samdin (born 1990) is a Singaporean lawyer. In June 2020, she was announced as a People's Action Party (PAP) candidate for the 2020 General Elections.[1]
Background
Nadia Ahmad Samdin is a lawyer at TSMP Law Corporation where she had first started out as an intern.[2] Before pursuing a full-time career in law, Nadia was a current affairs producer at the news network, Channel NewsAsia.[3][4] She is involved in numerous community organisations like National Youth Council (NYC), Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) and the South East Community Development Council.[5]
Education
Nadia Ahmad Samdin was a student at Victoria Junior College and subsequently studied law at Singapore Management University.[6] In 2015, Nadia Ahmad Samdin received the SMU Alumni Rising Star award at the SMU Alumni Recognition Ceremony for her achievements in the public sphere.[7]
