In October 2020, he stepped down as the Chairman of Cordlife Group Limited following a lawsuit from Inter-Pacific Petroleum's (IPP) judicial managers (JMs) over alleged negligence of his director duties.[23] Goh Jin Hian has also stepped down as the CEO of New Silkroutes Group Limited as of October 2020.[25]
