Tan Kiat How (born 1977) is a Singaporean politician and the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) where he was also the Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).[1] In June 2020, he was announced as a People's Action Party (PAP) candidate for the 2020 Singapore General Elections and is contesting in East Coast GRC.[2]

Tan Kiat How was appointed as the CEO of IMDA in January 2017 and stepped down from his position on 20 June 2020 to enter politics.[3] Before joining the IMDA, he was the Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI)[4] and the programme director at the Pioneer Generation Office.[5] He also has experience working at the Ministry of Finance.[6] He started his career as an IT consultant for the Ministry of Education.[7][8]
