1. Every Singaporean is empowered to achieve his or her maximum potential regardless of background, with a strong social safety net for the less privileged.
2. That we have a culture of open-mindedness, where the government of the day and civil service recognise the value of alternative viewpoints to achieve the best outcomes for Singapore.
3. A balanced parliament to enhance accountability and transparency in government decision making.
In a video posted on his Instagram on 26 June 2020, Chua Kheng Wee shared the reason why he joined the WP. He says:
“It is because I care deeply for the future of Singapore that my baby boy will grow up in.”[18]
