He has described his artistic identity as reflecting the "warrior spirit" of that mythic figure and using that as a lens for his high-energy performances.<ref name=":1" />

In his youth, Ngor encountered legal troubles: according to an interview, he was sentenced in 2020 to 21 months in prison for “causing grievous hurt with weapons” and also received corporal punishment (three strokes of the cane). In 2022, he signed with Liquid State, a label co-founded by Alan Walker and R3HAB, becoming the first Asian artist to collaborate with them.
