According to Kee's own account, she and her then-boyfriend had been together since 2019, with the relationship spanning three major reported break-ups, in 2020, 2022 and 2025. She said she had previously asked him to stop contact with P En after hearing that P En had been involved in a separate incident affecting another couple. When confronted, both her then-boyfriend and P En reportedly told her the calls were related to a shared school project; Kee said she chose to accept this explanation at the time, and the couple proceeded to become engaged two months later.<ref name=":0" />

===The May 2026 argument and reconciliation===
Kee said that on 2 May 2026, a disagreement arose after her fiancé wanted a night out with friends. She had initially agreed to the outing but became upset on the day itself, and for

Still suspicious, Kee said she reviewed her fiancé's phone on 13 June 2026 and found Grab ride-hailing receipts showing repeated trips, some over several hours long, to the specific HDB block in Hougang that she nicknamed Hougang Block ABC in her video. She said the trips dated back to at least April 2026, and that her fiancé gave shifting explanations for them over time, including that he was visiting his grandmother, meeting a friend for supper, or staying home. Kee said the explanations did not hold up because Nanyang Polytechnic, which she said her fiancé attended, was some distance from Hougang despite closer food options being available.

With the help of friends, Kee said she cross-referenced details from P En's Instagram posts, including a car dashboard map screenshot and background details in a photograph, to identify the specific Hougang block, and separately established that P En's former primary and secondary schools were located nearby. When confronted with this, Kee said her fiancé did not explicitly confirm the address belonged to P En, but did not appear surprised by the discovery either. She said that once she revealed how she had found the address, P En's Instagram account was set to private the same day.

Kee and friends subsequently went to the block and spoke with P En directly. According to Kee, P En denied any romantic involvement during an initial conversation and a longer follow-up conversation, and both P En and Kee's fiancé maintained that they were not close enough for him to know her address. Kee said she chose to accept this explanation and asked her friends to stop pressing the matter.<ref name=":0" />

Her fiancé maintained throughout that he had been truthful and attributed the breakup to a decline in his feelings for her rather than to any infidelity, continuing to deny the allegations. Kee ultimately called off the engagement, telling viewers she was no longer willing to tolerate what she saw as a lack of respect from him.

Following the split, Kee said several people connected to her ex-fiancé's school reached out to tell her they had seen him and P En together on campus on multiple occasions, and that they had assumed she already knew. She also said she had separately been told that her ex-fiancé had booked a staycation at Resorts World Sentosa over 20 and 21 July 2025 to mark P En's birthday, at a time he had told her he was unwell, and shared a purported booking confirmation and accompanying messages in her video as supporting material.

Kee's YouTube video, uploaded on 15 July 2026, ran to almost 50 minutes and combined narration with screenshots of messages, ride-hailing receipts and the handwritten note. According to Mothership, the video had drawn more than 584,000 views within three days of publication; Stomp separately reported that Kee's YouTube upload had passed 267,000 views and noted the wider virality of the story on TikTok, where reaction videos, parody edits and commentary proliferated under hashtags referencing both Kee's handle and the Hougang Block ABC nickname.<ref name=":0" /><ref name=":1" />

At the end of her video, Kee announced that she was separately selling, for S$30, a personal wedding-planning guide she had compiled during the relationship, covering vendor recommendations, bouquet inspiration and suggested event timelines, saying the months of work that had gone into it should not go to waste.
